Water Fund Initiatives

The Lake Monroe Water Fund brings people together to protect the land and water that sustain our community. Our work focuses on four key areas that keep Lake Monroe clean and resilient: improving soil health to reduce erosion and runoff, enhancing water health through restoration and education, protecting native forests that filter rainfall and support wildlife, and promoting septic solutions that prevent pollution before it reaches the lake. Each of these efforts strengthens the watershed from the ground up—creating long-term benefits for everyone who depends on Lake Monroe for drinking water, recreation, and natural beauty. Real progress takes collaboration, care, and community investment. When you support the Lake Monroe Water Fund, you’re turning concern into action—helping fund projects that restore landscapes, protect water quality, and ensure a healthy lake for generations to come. Together, we can protect the source that connects us all.
